PE coating, also known as polyethylene extrusion coating, is a process of uniformly coating molten polyethylene plastic onto the surface of a substrate (in this case, paper cup base paper) through precision molds.

Here, "bread" is the base paper of paper cups, and "melted chocolate sauce" is the melted PE, which forms a continuous plastic film on the paper after "cooling".
